*sigh* I tried injecting a voice of calm objectivity over there at the discussion board, and I got a little encouragement, so we'll see what happens. There is a surge of support for the category of feminist bloggers. There's also a bit of chewing over the "Best Blog" category -- that's it's too heavily loaded and has too wide a scope.

I've already nominated a couple of blogs (and seconded others), and I won't withdraw the nominations unless asked, but I'm not going to participate any further until the feminist category is accepted.

If nothing changes at the CBA, there is an option. Dump the CBA as it sits and start all over again. After all, ya got yer Oscars and ya got yer Golden Globe, too!

Isn't that what it always boils down to with them? Women asking for shit == they must be OTR.

What to call the category without having to use the f-word?
Gosh, that's a toughie.
Some of the moderators' alternative category suggestions to get around using the f-word so far :
*gender and sexuality issues
*women's issues
*family
*sexual gender GBLT issues
*culture
*gender equality

Why don't they just call it
*best f-word blog?
