It was a stirring speech and my entire graduating class, fresh off of two years of feminist indoctrination in Prof Amy Bartholomew's Civil Liberties and Human Rights classes, gave her a standing ovation. And I got to receive my Honours degree in Law-Crim from her. She was one of the best. Bertha Wilson spoke to at my commencement in June 1991 at Carleton University.
