Fetus Fetishists Flout Facts

Here we go again. They never let facts stand in the way of fabricating their propaganda.

US abortion criminalizers and religious fanatics are getting ready for their next festivities. They are organizing events to commemorate the 43rd anniversary of a Supreme Court decision which set a legal precedent for recognizing that the Constitution grants women the right to privacy in matters of contraception use. Thus the state of Connecticut and the rest of the United States could no longer stop women from requesting and obtaining birth control pills from their physicians.

In typical zygote zealot style, the American Life League claims that “The Pill Kills Babies”. Hmmm, no – that’s not how the Pill works. The reason that the Pill is called an oral contraception is because it prevents conception. The synthetic hormones temporarily stop ovulation, also known as the release of an egg into the fallopian tubes. There is nothing for sperm to fertilize. Zip. Nada. Bupkis. Rien du tout.

But don’t bother giving the fetus fetishists that information. They revel in fallacious and fervid frothing at the mouth, helped along by their favourite fairy tales. In fact, we wrote about their willful disregard for facts, last year: Truthâ„¢: abortion criminalizers say they own it. And of course, being prescient, we anticipated how fanatic fundamentalist fetus fetishists of all religious ilk would also want to control pre-conception, here: Virgin Eggs Over Easy Hold The Sperm.

  1. I would expect the anti-choice crowd to love the pill because it doesn’t kill. In fact, it prevents death by preventing life. But there’s no accounting for fetishists, is there?

Ooooh, deBeauxOs, we lurve it when you go all sciencey,

  3. Gigi says:

Dude, they latch onto the fact that we count pregnancy two weeks before you are actually pregnant (don’t ask me why tf “we” do that), and you expect them to be rational?

Hell according to them, I am pregnant now, nevermind that I won’t be having sex for another two days.

Bad, bad Gigi. Just for saying that you are hoping to engage in an activity that should be considered only for procreation and NOT recreation, the fetus fetishists think that you are all damned to hell.

But I will give you my absolutely fabulous absolution. Enjoy.

  5. Mike says:

So all of this is really about stopping people from having sex outside of marriage. This is really about contraception.

Next thing you know they will try to say masturbation is the killing of babies.

I guess that made me a serial killer before the age of 16.
