Red Rover, Red Rover, Let Ken Epp Come Over

This is a genius idea.

Now, once the Green party has its first sitting MP, Elizabeth May insists there’s no more reason why Green party should be excluded from the leaders’ debates.

But if having a sitting MP is all what’s needed – then why can’t CHP arrange it so that one of the Conservatives (let’s say – Ken Epp, an Edmonton MP who’s been recently backstabbed by the Conservative cabinet* and who is not running for re-election (hence – he has nothing to lose) could just cross the floor to the CHP. That will give the CHP its first sitting MP and that would allow Ron Gray to participate in the debates. (They won’t be able to refuse if having a single Liberal turned Green MP is enough for Elizabeth May to participate.)

Check them out. Dandy way to divide the Right.

• ‘Backstabbing’ is one way of putting it. We at Birth Pangs put it somewhat differently.

  1. What an evil suggestion :-) I love it!

  2. Muahahahahhahaha.

    Love it.

  3. Not a bad idea. I’m still getting a kick at the bloggers blowing a gasket at there being 5 people in a debate. Like, that never happened before (*cough* 1993). Remember what the Conservatives were reduced to in 1993, after a disastrous government? We can only hope for the same again.

  4. Harper
    Dion
    Duceppe
    :???: Layton

    :?: Gray?

  5. I love it! Gives all the nitwits someone to vote for. Plus, imagine Question Period. Oh, YES!!! Bring it. Go CHP!!!
