Well. Isn’t that amazing?

The same week that Canadian Reforma-Tories tossed our fetus fetishists under the looming campaign bus, that wrinkly old white guy down in Merka put them in the driver’s seat.

Let’s leave aside for a moment the facts that she’s virulently anti-choice (would deny abortion even in cases of incest and rape), that she’s anti-science/logic/reason of the creationist stripe, that she’s anti-equal marriage, that she’s a former beauty pageant contestant (the mouth-breathers are drooling over her and calling her a ‘milf’ [we hadda ask: what's a milf?]), that she’s in favour of drilling for oil and gas in Alaska’s wildlife reserves (something even McSame is against, at the moment at least). Her sketchy political experience and total lack of same at the national, let alone international, level.

Let’s leave all that aside, for the moment at least, and ask: What is she going to do with her four-month-old son, whom she heroically bore even though she knew he has Down syndrome and other health problems, when she’s campaigning?

Thought exercise time: Imagine a female Democrat with a very, very young handicapped child accepting the V.P. nomination.

Abomination! Unnatural woman! Evul, selfish, aggressive, ambitious feminist bitch!

But this is different. Apparently.

We at Birth Pangs hope she stays on McSame’s good side. Or she may get called even worse. Or maybe McSame just calls his wife a cunt, not his running mate.
