Barack Obama was elected president despite the fact he supports abortion into the fourth trimester.Either the 63 million people voting for him didn’t know about his radical record, which includes abandoning abortion survivors to die, didn’t care, or didn’t believe it.

Obama’s a wuss. We at Birth Pangs support abortion into the fifth trimester!

I wonder if they actually have victims’ groups for “abortion survivors”? WTF!?!?
The only abortion survivors I know of are the women who managed to survive illegal abortions performed by quacks or discredited medical professionals.
It does my heart good to see this kind of meltdown.
Now maybe they’ll face the fact that the only way to lower the abortion rate is through education and contraception, and that if they persist with the “all or nothing” approach, nothing is what they will continue to get.
I look forward to the rebalancing of SCOTUS with President Obama’s judicial appointments, and the passage of the Freedom of Choice Act.

Wow, and here in the reality-based world, we only have three trimesters for our pregnancies.

I expect Stanek’s turn of phrase is intentional. While he was in the Illinois state legislature Obama opposed a piece of legislation called the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. It was a badly written bill and even some conservatives opposed it but during the campaign some of the wingnuts tried to lift the title out of context and accused Obama of being in favour of infanticide. (And for all I know Stanek’s piece may explain all that but I’m not going to find out. I don’t do Wing Nut Daily if I can help it.)
Intended, I have no doubt. But at what point do we give these zealots a pass and presume that they have not crossed over into the world of fantasy and delusions?
Unfortunately, we know that the murder of clinic staff and clinic bombings are enacted by individuals who believe that rhetoric literally and cross over into vigilante terrain.
I thought it was the ‘pro-lifers’ that didn’t care what happened to a baby once it was out of the chute, unless it was pale and hale in all parts? All the gnashing and hissing about how wimmins needed to keep their legs together if they didn’t want to live in circumstances that would abuse born children is still ringing in my ears.
That fourth trimester stuff…sure sounds solidly on the other side of the finish line (except for the unfortunate few wayyyy overdue). But perhaps it’s another attempt to equate abortion to murder. I mean, by that logic, a murdered 20 year old is an abortion of a life into its 80th trimester.
Of course, you can put nothing past any of these womb-murdering feminist supremacists.
Yes, I once went a week past term, and that was so icky and uncomfy that I finally decided I’d had enough of motherhood. I had ‘em poke the baby’s head in with scissors and suck its brains out with a vaccuum cleaner so that I wouldn’t have to dilate to 10 cm. Srsly!
